It’s the Friday Before the 3 Day Memorial Day Weekend……

What a coincidence! 

   

Last night, Prez-a-dent Obama & Family landed in Chi-Town for the Memorial Holiday Weekend.   And I am ’almost’ absolutely certain that the timing of Obama’s visit to Chi-Town has nothing whatsoever to do with the following;

“The jury selection process should be transparent – at the very least, the defendants should be involved in the process,” the motion states. “Efficiency should not overtake constitutionality.”

The defense notes Blagojevich has a petition to delay the trial before the Supreme Court, which is being reviewed by Justice John Paul Stevens. The government is due to respond in writing by Friday.

The defense has asked for a delay until the high court decides on the merits of the “honest services” fraud law.

Today, as the President was conducting his 2nd photo op  visit to the Gulf Oil Spill, the Whitehouse released their response to the “Sestak Job Offer Scandal”…..which is that Bill Clinton did it (yesterday Obama blamed the BP Oil Spill on George Bush)   The Whitehouse response today was released simultaneously with Obama’s visit to the Gulf.  

It’s called “bamboozling.”   So much bullshit many stories to report all at one time…..conveniently released at a time when most Americans are either at work, in an airport or traveling to a vacation destination for a 3 day weekend. 

Regarding Obama and all the phony concern about the cozy relationship between Big Oil and the Federal Government and Washington Politicians relationship that he continues to speak of.   Listed below is a direct quote from Factcheck.org regarding Presidential Candidate Obama’s claim that he didn’t take money from BIG OIL or PACS. 

Obama has, however, accepted more than $213,000 in contributions from individuals who work for, or whose spouses work for, companies in the oil and gas industry, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

 In addition, two oil industry executives were bundling money for Obama – drumming up contributions from individuals and turning them over to the campaign. George Kaiser, the chairman of Oklahoma-based Kaiser-Francis Oil Co., ranks 68th on the Forbes list of world billionaires. He was listed on Obama’s Web site as raising between $50,000 and $100,000 for the candidate. Robert Cavnar is president and CEO of Milagro Exploration LLC, an oil exploration and production company. He’s named as a bundler in the same category as Kaiser.

This Memorial Day, the President has decided to break with tradition.  Yep, the change agent has decided to take a powder on paying his respects to our men and women in the military by visiting Arlington Cemetery. 

Yo, the Hip-Pop Prez & his family are heading for Chi-Town to kick off the summer this Memorial Day Weekend.  Yes indeed, the community organizer from the Southside of Chicago is heading back to Chi-Town.  He & the first family will arrive on Thursday night where they will visit with friends and participate in private events.   And to show his support for our military, he’ll remain in the Southside of Chi-Town and take 15 minutes to make a few remarks at the nearby Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

I mean, visiting Arlington Cemetery on Memorial Day would be so much like all those other Presidents on the dollar bills….you know – the ones that Candidate Obama continually reminded us that he [doesn’t] look like?  Wink,wink.

I mean it’s not like we’re in 2 wars, have serious illegal immigration issues, or experiencing one of the worst economic recessions & most catastrophic oil spills in our nation’s history in the gulf of Mexico…..etc, etc.

Who’s abusing their power?   The capitalist system that can’t make you (us) do anything OR the government that can force itself on all of us and evidently any company or industry it so chooses!  Banks can’t make you do business with them and corporations can’t make you buy their products.

Force is a tool available only to the government and as we have seen in the past 16 months, Obama and his Democrat Harem in Washington are drunk with power, “forcing us” to do do everything from buying healthcare insurance, bailing out banks, taking over auto manufacturers, pushing cap and trade and handing $8 Billion of our tax dollars to bail out……..GREECE!

But it doesn’t stop there.  This spring, internet companies and civil liberties groups were alarmed when a U.S. Senate bill proposed handing the Obama White House the power to disconnect private-sector computers from the Internet.   Senate bill S773 was sponsored by Senator John Rockefeller D-WV.

Barack Obama you are a homophobe

 This man is a complete piece of shit phoney.  He is a liar and a hypocrite and he should be run out of the White House.  He is so condescending and pompous.  Finally, some gay activists are standing up to him and he really didn’t like it.  I’m sure he’ll be making fun of them on his next campaign stop.  There are plenty of articles about the heckling and his reaction.

Last night President Obama spoke at a fundraiser in LA for Senator Barbara Boxer. In what I see as a very refreshing turn of events, LGBT activists repeatedly heckled a clearly irritated Obama with calls for the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.

Obama tried to calm the hecklers by claiming that both he and Boxer are on their side. Really? So what’s the holdup then? Here’s the video of the speech

However, there is also a very interesting story about this administration and its transparency.  Are they really trying to shut us down?  Do they really feel that threatened by dissent.  Well, they haven’t seen anything yet.  I heckled and ridiculed Bush for eight fucking years and I never got tired of it.  You better get some thicker skin, Obama.  We all have plenty of skin in the game and we ain’t giving up.  Once the Gay Fools wake up you will hear more.  Once the women’s groups who fell prey to your spell wake up you can count on more dissent.  What will you do?  Issue a gag order?  Fuck you.

Is this Logo-gate?

The Internet is abuzz with comparisons of the “strikingly similar” logos of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency and the ubiquitous Obama 2008 campaign.

The Missile Defense Agency, which is part of the Defense Department, now features a circular red, white and blue logo on its Web site that has been characterized in some reports as “scarily” similar to President Obama’s former campaign symbol. Others have noted that it has a crescent and star design, evoking a common symbol for Islam. 

The logo, which first appeared on the Missile Defense Web site in the fall, was designed by TMP Government, a marketing and communications firm that has managed Web site redesigns and logos for numerous government agencies, including recovery.gov and more than a dozen Defense and intelligence-related sites.

But this particular one has caught the eye of critics of the Obama administration.

“I’m having trouble seeing past the crescent and star in the new logo,” one critic posted on WashingtonTimes.com. “Is this our signal to the muslim world that we’re not going to shoot down their missiles?”

Another poster on WeaselZippers.net likened the logo to that of a “corny science fiction movie.” 

But others said it was all in the eye of the beholder, and that they saw little or no similarity between the Obama and Missile Defense logos.

Richard Lehner, a spokesman for the Missile Defense Agency, dismissed the comparison entirely.

“It’s ridiculous,” Lehner told Fox News. “It isn’t a new logo to replace the official logo. It’s a logo developed for recruiting materials and for our public Web site. Also, it was used prior to the 2008 election and it has no link to any political campaign.”

Brian Collins, chairman and chief creative officer at COLLINS:, a New York-based design and innovation firm, said both logos use the “same visual language,” complete with two circles and three stripes.

“The Obama logo is filled with messages of hope, it’s about looking toward an optimistic future,” he said. “They’ve taken those exact elements and they’ve made them more technical.”

Collins said the newer Missile Defense Agency logo simply took on more patriotic colors to convey its message more quickly and simply. But he doesn’t think the creative minds at TMP Government had Obama in mind when they produced their governmental branding.

 

“I wouldn’t buy the argument that it’s an evolution of the Obama identity,” Collins said. “There are similarities but I don’t see the genesis in the Obama logo.”

The old logo was good enough for me.
